Douglass S. Lodmell
Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, attorney Douglass S. Lodmell is an expert in estate planning, taxation and strategic asset protection for domestic and international clients. In addition to a Juris Doctorate from Cardozo School of Law, Douglass has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance as well as an advance law degree (LL.M.) in taxation from NYU School of Law. He has authored numerous articles for professional journals as well as a popular book about the explosion of lawsuits in America called The Lawsuit Lottery: The Hijacking of Justice in America. Doug’s extensive expertise in asset protection make him a frequent guest speaker at medical, and professional conferences and seminars throughout the country, as well as teaching concepts of asset protection to other attorneys at continuing legal education seminars throughout the country. Gary L. Lodmell
Nationally recognized attorney Gary L. Lodmell has practiced business law, finance, and estate planning for over 40 years. Gary received his J.D. degree from Catholic University of America and has a B.A. in sociology from Arizona State University. A skilled lecturer, Gary Lodmell has conducted hundreds of seminars and workshops for business, professional, real estate, and financial organizations. He has taught law and business courses at the University of Phoenix, Phoenix College, the American Graduate School of International Management, and Yavapai College. Currently, he is a faculty member of the College of Estate Planning Attorneys. In addition, he is a frequent guest lecturer on the use of domestic and international asset protection planning.
Senior Asset Protection Analyst
Senior Asset Protection Analyst Mark Lodmell studied Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Montana and the University of Great Falls in Montana. Mark went on to develop and manage several service-oriented businesses. His experience and expertise in customer service and consulting has proven to be an asset to business — small and large.
Mr. Lodmell moved to Arizona in 2003 to fill a position in the Legal Client Development Department at Lodmell & Lodmell P.C.. Mark is a true professional in this highly specialized field of asset protection. He currently serves the firm as Senior Asset Protection Analyst.
Over the years Mark has literally implemented hundreds of plans for high-net worth, high liability clients across the country. Mark’s work ethic and genuine concern for our clients makes him a true asset to the firm. He has a deep and valuable understanding of business, the legal tools we use and the issues and concerns of the clients we work with.
Ian Hasegawa, Esq., MBA
Associate Asset Protection Attorney
Mr. Ian Hasegawa, Esq., MBA earned his MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Following several years at Charles Schwab, Ian refocused on international trade and logistics by working with UPS in international business development. At UPS, Ian consulted with importers and exporters to implement process improvement and compliance with trade laws. It was during this time that Ian began earning his law degree. Before arriving at Lodmell & Lodmell, Ian practiced law in a full service estate planning and probate firm in Arizona helping clients protect their assets and plan for their loved ones. Ian’s experience with complex probates, conservatorships, estate planning, trust administration, and business entity formation all contribute to his ability to help clients create the best Asset Protection planning available anywhere. Ian brings a wealth of legal, business and financial experience to the table when assisting his clients. Ian is a member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals and local and national Asian Bar Associations.

Mr. Ike Z. Devji, J.D. is Of-Counsel with Lodmell & Lodmell P.C. and is the firm’s former managing attorney. He is the Executive Vice-President of the Wealthy 100 ™, a Phoenix Arizona based wealth management and wealth strategy firm with a network of advisors across the United States. Mr. Devji selectively consults and provides Asset Protection services to high-net worth, high liability clients nationwide. Ike has spoken on Asset Protection to literally thousands of physicians and other high-net worth clients across the country. He continues to teach continuing legal education on this subject to other attorneys and regularly lectures at the request of leading medical practice management and investment management groups including most recently, MultiFinancial Securities, Greenbook Financial, ING, ING TRUST, Comprehensive Wealth Management, CFO Advisors, numerous banks, and both Lorman and the National Business Institute.
